Know Your Zone

Know Your Zone is Jackson County’s evacuation program, designed to help residents prepare for emergencies before they happen. Using the Genasys Protect system, the county is divided into clearly numbered zones. In the event of a wildfire, flood, or other disaster, officials will issue alerts referencing specific zone numbers—making it easier for residents to understand if they need to evacuate or take action.

Residents can find their zone by entering their address into the Know Your Zone map and are encouraged to sign up for Jackson Alerts to receive timely notifications. Knowing your zone is a key step in the “Ready, Set, Go” evacuation process.
